One thing my husband and I love doing is going to a Games Archade in a mall. We just love playing games. We sometimes go overboard and go on playing shooting guns! LOL. Anyways… now that we have kids already, we don’t play shooting guns already. But it is really addicting, you know. I know of a friend that loves playing with playstation 3. And she said she could play for hours and hours. Hmmm. Makes me think of buying one for myself. But then again, I am not sure whether I could play for hours because the kids might “borrow” it from me and I would no longer be able to use it myself.

There are various health benefits dervied from celery and its juice. The medical virtues of celery were first described by the Greeks Discorides and Pliny. In the early middle ages celery juice was very beneficial for curing ailments such as stones, constipation, menstrual problems and for health disorders of the liver and gall bladder.
The green leaves and stem and the bulbous root of celery are all extremely rich in active ingredients that make celery a very important medicinal plant and very beneficial to health. There is a well balanced content of the basic minerals, vitamins and nutrients, but in addition there are important concentrations of plant hormones and the essential oils that give celery its strong and characteristic smell. These oils have a specific effect on the regulation of the nervous system, and have a great calming influence. It is the presence of the essential oils which makes celery special. These are also found in the seeds and, if available, they too can be added to the juice.
Celery is used for its strong stimulating and beneficial effect on a weak sexual system, but as is usual with plant therapies the normally active person does not have to fear an uncontrollable upsurge. Plant therapy tends to make the system normal. Like beet there is also a general health tonic effect.
The strong diuretic (water removing) powers of celery enable it to be used in the control of health problems such as arthritis and rheumatism. Sufferers cannot have too much and may consume the vegetable cooked or raw, or in juice form which is the most health effective treatment of all.
A tablespoonful of honey in celery juice, sipped slowly, will very effectively reduce the appetite if taken before a meal, and makes a delightful drink. You can take the same mixture as a nightcap when it will help you to relax into a soothing and restful sleep.
Those who take the juice who have in the past suffered from a tendency towards stones in the gall bladder or the kidneys usually find that these painful deposits do not form again. It seems likely that this effect is related to the anti-arthritic properties of the juice.

Now that we have booked our accommodation at Laban Rata, the next step I’m doing is doing more research on what to bring and what not to bring during our Mt Kinabalu expedition. And one thing that I need to take with me, just in case, is a safety equipment, i.e. flashlight or probably a headlight. Not sure where to get it yet, but this website I have gone into that sells all those offers free delivery for every purchase, anywhere in the world.

No… I haven’t started driving yet. My husband keeps forcing encouraging me to drive… but I can’t just get behind the wheel and be confident enough to drive. There are two things that keep me from driving:
- The road direction. In the Philippines, people drive on the left side. And we drive on the right side of the road. In Malaysia, you drive on the left side of the road with the steering wheel on the right.
- Confidence. I’ve seen a lot of road accidents. And it keeps me feeling scared of driving.
So my husband suggest that I go to truck driving school. LOL. Kidding.Seriously, he’s been asking me to take time to go to a driving school. But it seems I don’t have time to do it. Or am I just making an excuse? Well, probably I’d go to a driving school later. Not so soon, though.

Hubby came home to pick us up. We went to his office. There’s an ongoing training and I needed to be there. One thing about kids being older is that they can be independent already. I was watching a video training and the kids were just playing around in their daddy’s office. My daughter discovered another interesting “toy”… and that was a rubber stamp. So she was stamping on his daddy’s things. Good thing the ink dried up a little bit. So it didn’t really cause damage.

What is your aim for this year? For me, I have resolved to lose weight and be more physically fit. My forthcoming trip to Mt. Kinabalu serves as a first step in achieving my goal. I am, after all, motivated to do physical exercises… that would eventually lead to a weight loss. I am also contemplating of popping in some diet pills. But I don’t know which one is the better one to use yet. Might as well google it first. Anyway… I was feeling so tired when I woke up this morning. So I decided to jog right after I sent the kids to school. Hubby joined me. After jogging, I felt tired again… but more refreshed… if you know what I mean. I like the feeling of my sweat coming out… It is just so refreshing. Will contniue running/jogging tomorrow. It’s more fun doing it with hubby.

The thing with working in an industrialized company is the exposure to health hazards. Some companies don’t even forewarned emplyees of the danger of asbestos in their workplace, thus causing an incurable disease that claims the lives of thousands of victims. Malignant Mesothelioma, that is. One of the deadliest forms of cancer today. When you become a victim of mesothelioma, I’ve learned, that you actually have the right to seek answers: why weren’t you forewarned about the dangers of asbestos. You just need to find a good Mesothelioma lawyer to help you get compensated.

I have been facebooking and loving it. One thing I like about it is that you can give and receive virtual gifts. One of my friends sent me a red Louis Vuitton bag. I so love it. And I wanna make it real. The only thing is… it’s too expensive. I may have to save (for a long time) first before buying this one. And besides, I just bought a hand bag from Carlo Rino. So it doesn’t make sense to buy another one… for now. Unless of course there’s
sale going on. I would definitely be tempted to buy.

I saw this funny videos from youtube about a girl doing yoga with two other guys. It’s a bit yucky hearing all those toxin release… I wonder how she could take all the smell! Anyway, if you wanna see this yoga release toxins, here’s the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dl_HRUOvhkQ. I can’t help but make a comment in this video. If you wanna know my comment, go to the link I just wrote and look for my user name as janetspeaks.
Another funny video is from this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUSXe0fOxR0. It’s all about disappearing candy magic. The magician asked him to make the candy disappear so he swallowed it. The magician asked him to make it appear but couldn’t… and later found the candy in another man’s undies! LOL. The magician gave him back the candy and asked him to do it one more time. But the video stopped there. So I wonder if he swallowed the candy.
Howard Mandel is truly a funny guy. He can does this for marketing (he probably makes a huge sale after doing these videos) and it’s very interesting on how he does it. Very funny, indeed.

I was talking to my sister-in-law today while partying at my parents-in-law’s house. We talked about losing weight before the wedding. She told me how much effort she did. Her trainer apparently told her to do squats with weights! It must be very hard! She told me she could die in pain. I also think it was a bit rough, compared to doing pilates. Pilates is like doing some stretches but it can actually help you tone the parts of your body you want to tone. I did a lot of Pilates work out for my tummy and arms. I wanted a pair of toned arms because my wedding gown was a tube type. I apparently didn’t need to take those Ephadrasil hardcore. Well, it doesn help a lot to burn fats… but I haven’t tried it yet. Maybe, someday, if I become desperate enough to burn fats, I would. For now, exercising is my choice. How nice it is if I could do that one on the image.
