I Have Gained

gaining-weightUpon knowing my Mt Kinabalu expedition was canceled, I have lost motivation to exercise. And I have been eating like crazy. My sister pampered me so much by cooking those delicious Filipino dishes. I know I have gained. I just don’t know how much. When I was doing my physical preparation (which included running around the park, climbing up and down the stairs, and even cutting down my food intake), I was really motivated to be fit. Now I am too lazy to exercise. I think I need those diet pills that work! Otherwise, I’d be looking like a slouch potato.

How Warm Am I?

You Are Warm

You are as patient, as outgoing, and as nice as you can be.

You understand people well, and you mostly enjoy being around them.

You are a naturally warm person, but you do have times when you’re feeling a bit distant.

But even when you’re feeling distant, you try to be empathetic. You always go the extra mile.

My Boy and His Favorite Car

ferrariMy boy is only 4 years old but he can identify some cars already. He sees Volvo.. and names it. He sees Ford and he names it. He sees Kancil and he names it. Kancil is a Malysian car. It is very small. It doesn’t have an export quality, I’ve heard. But there’s a joke I read about Kancil cars. The marketers marketed it to the US and came back happy because at least there’s one company that agreed to sell it. So the people ask which company. The marketers said: Toys ‘R Us! LOL. That was a good joke. In Malaysia, it is very convenient to buy Malaysian car because it is easy to buy spare parts. With Volvo, it’s hard to get some spare parts. It’s probably the same with Ferrari parts.

My boy exhibits a fondness for Malaysian cars… while hubby prefers imported cars. Hmmm… looks like hubby and son are going to have fun time comparing cars soon.

TV Time

tv-standMy kids’ TV time is limited. Not that I set it up. We have a lot of things to do to even think about watching television…in which I am happy about. At least we don’t have to fight on how much and how often they could watch TV. I think watching TV’s for kids depends on how much exposure they get from their parents. Hubby and I don’t watch TV that much. So probably the kids have picked it up from us as well. Of course, we have TV (which is properly placed on its tv stand) at home. And it’s not like we don’t want the kids to watch TV. In our home, it’s just the way it is.

Camping

camping

We were not able to go to Mt Kinabalu for a climb. Really sad. But couldn’t do anything about it. We don’t have a choice but to cancel our Mt Kinabalu expedition. However, we’re going to move it to another date because we cannot refund the money back. The bookings for July to December onwards is still not open. So we’ll wait until March to be able to book our expedition. I really have a wanderlust. And of course, since I am earning a little bit now, I save some money for whatever trip that fancies me. Of course, I cannot the trip that’s very far. I can only afford to travel by a budget airline… which is… of course, Air Asia and their flights are quite limited. Otherwise, I would be planning for an rv camping already. When the kids grow older, I would defintely plan a family camping. That’s for sure.

Freudan Stage

It’s been a long time since I took a personality quizz. I love taking those, by the way. I get amused by how accurate the results are sometimes. And so here’s the latest personality quizz I took:

What Freudan Stage Are You In?

You Are in the Genital Stage of Development

According to Dr. Freud, you’ve reached the genital stage of development.

Whatever issues you may have had in your childhood have been resolved.

You don’t have any hang ups, and you are able to function as a stable adult.

You are the model of being well-adjusted, and you are able to balance your life beautifully.

Presents

I didn’t really shop for presents for my nephews and niece. I didn’t have enough time to do so. I am planning to visit them the next day, after I am finished with my mission here. :D My sister and I agreed that we will give them a surprise by just showing up in their door step. My other sister knew that I was in Manila already but we didn’t tell her we’re gonna visit them in Zambales. Yesterday, when my sister and I were walking around the neighborhood, we saw some sale going on at the park. We went to check and bought some clothes for my 2 nephews and 1 niece. I have bought something for my sister too. Now I have to think what to buy for my brother-in-law. Would he like this?

My Dream Laptop

My notebook has finally crashed. The computer guy said there were some problems with the motherboard and to fix  them would cost a lot. So he advised us to buy a new lappy instead of fixing it. I have to use a computer because some of my works are computer related. I am using a friend’s laptop (as I have said in my previous post). I am grateful to him for letting me use his extra notebook for as long as I need it. Of course, eventually, I have to have my own. And I am already eyeing the one that I like. My dream:

Computer Memory

55956687It’s a good thing to have a laptop. You can carry it with you any where you go and can work anywhere. I really appreciate having this laptop. It’s not mine… a friend’s, but I can use it as long as I want. Now I have it with me. I’m staying with my sister and showing her all my kids photos. I haven’t moved them into my external hard drive yet. But I think I can still store them here coz the computer memory is a bit high. And one good thing about staying here at my sister’s now is that they have wi-fi connection. I can check emails and write some assignments anytime.

Walked

42-15274921I frantically walked the whole day today. My legs are aching. The soles of my feet are really painful. I had to go from one office to another, climb up and down the stairs to get from one train to another. That went on for my first day in Manila. Now I am home and I am so tired. But what I appreciate most about all this walking and stuff  is that I am losing weight. LOL. I just weighed my self and surprised I have lost 2 kgs. Cool, hey? Do I need to pop in some diet pills? Hmmm… probably have to do a bit of searching the internet for someHydroxycut reviews.I heard about it’s effectivity, actually. I might need some after I go back home after my trip.
