Cleaning Ladies

We used to have cleaning ladies come to our house once a week to clean up the ones I can’t cope up cleaning like the windows, ceiling fans, kitchen drawers, and ironing of clothes. But they became very naughty. They would lock our bathroom door to clean it. I was wondering why everytime they came out of the bathroom, they would have that cheeky smiles on their faces. Then I discovered they were using my cosmetics. My Clinique! And then one discovery led to another. They would add water to the cleaning stuff so it would appear that they’re not wasting it. And then when I wasn’t around, they would let the tap water open. So we decided we no longer wanted them. Now we don’t have cleaning ladies anymore and I am left cleaning my house on my own. Of course hubby helps from time to time and I am grateful for him. Would we hire another cleaning ladies? Probably not.

His Dilemma

It has always been his dilemma. His hair is thinning. I always assure him it’s okay. But he doesn’t believe me. I remember one time he asked me, Jan, what about if I go bald? I just shrugged. No deal. He’s still my husband and I would still love him, no matter what. LOL. It’s funny how men can get insecure when their hair starts to thin out. Of course, there’s a lot of treatments available like some hair loss product. He said he met a friend that is using one of those and his hair was so thick when they met. But I assured him he didn’t need one. What else to say?

It's Saturday!

It’s Saturday today. That means one thing. No school for kids, no work for hubby. My boy has his drama school though. But it’s only for an hour. We usually go to Sunway Club for swimming on Saturdays. My kids do love swimming. We didn’t have a pool in our apartment so I am grateful that we got a club membership that was passed to my hubby from a friend. I wonder if we have a pool though. I’m sure it would be extravagant to maintain one, not to mention buying some pool supplies. So I’ll just settle with the idea of going to the club for swimming. No more wishing for our own pool.

Anyways, today we’re not going to the club. Sigh. But we’re going to do our grocery shopping. It’s been afew days since we ran out of groceries. So we really need to do some shopping.

4 More Months

4 more months and we need to move out from this house. It seems like we were more excited to move in this house than moving out. We haven’t started looking for a house yet. Worse come to worse, (which of course will be very convenient financially – and why am I saying worse?) we will move back to our apartment.

But the good news is, the house next to our house just put up a sign: house for rent/sale. Aint God great? However, we have a bit of hesitation. The house is very basic. When I say basic, it is downright basic. Nothing. Not even an air conditioning unit. So even if it is still affordable, we are doubting whether we really wanna take it.

The one good thing about that house is that it has a space at the back which could probably afford a nice patio. So if ever we take that house, I would definitely be looking for some patio furniture covers.

Beauty Element

I got this thing for personality quizzes. It helps me so much to understand myself. Most of my quiz results are quite accurate. I love fashion. As the result says, I change style over and over. Not that I am not settled of who I am. It’s just to experiment and see other types that suit me. And depends with my situation.

I used to wear a lot of dangling earrings, big earrings, south sea pearl earrings, etc. After giving birth to two kids, however, has me changed. I don’t wear earrings anymore. I am hoping to get back into my old fashion routine though. It would be nice to wear earrings and other accessories again.
