House Hunting
We called the agent the other day. We saw a house for rent that was adjacent to our street. So yeah, we finally started house hunting. We have more than a month to go before we have to move out and move in. That reminds me to start sorting out our stuff as well.
Anyways, we went and check the house for rent. They have semi-furnished it. We don’t need a furnished house. A house with airconditioning units will do. So we asked the agent if the owners could take away the furnitures and lessen the cost of the rent. The agent said it’s unlikely they do that. They could take away the furnitures but not lessen the rental fee.
We looked around the house some more and disgusted to see the sink! It was too rusty. It was a total turn off. I wonder why the owners didn’t get one of those stainless steel sinks or even one of those zero radius sinks.
We came out of the house feeling dismayed. We couldn’t negotiate with the monthly rental, the sink was a mess, the floor was totally a turn off as well. Why would the owners be fussy about that house?
We’re heading off to check another house today. We are really serious in our house hunting job! Wish us luck, friends!
