Full Time Worker

In a world of Christianity, once you tell people you’re a full time worker, people seem to favor you and give you discounts i.e. dental discounts, medical discounts, school fee discounts, etc. This is what happens when you’re a full time worker. People of the same faith have the inclination to “bless” you because they believe that the more they bless the people who work full time in the ministry, the more they will be blessed in return. Kind of a good business strategy. But of course, it is Biblical to give because the more you give, the more you receive. It’s not only a business principle. It’s God’s principle to give.

Mercedes Guardian

Wow. I have finally found the details of Mercedes Guardian or S600 Guard model by Mercedes-Benz. I always wonder how they can make bullet proof or military-grade small arms projectiles proof car. It’s quite fascinating to see the details of the car’s features. Imagine having someone give you this kind of car as a gift. I don’t really mind having it. LOL.

There. Now you have a glimpse of Mercedes Guardian features… If you ask me if Mercedes needs Mopar parts, that one I don’t know. I just know how to appreciate cars and admire its features. Other than that, I have zero knowledge about the car parts.

Well, I hope you enjoy watching S600 Guard model features. I’m off to searching about that yellow Porsche. Hehehe.

How to Increase Your Blog’s PR?

This has been my question since I started with paid blogging… or rather since google started slapping my pr. PR means your page relevance in the blogosphere. There’s some kind of formula that google uses to calculate and distribute (and take away) page ranks but almost all of them are assumptions. I made a lot of assumptions about page ranks. I have experiments a lot. But all my experiments were useless coz there’s no one right formula.

There are things though that can help us maintain or increase our page ranks:

1. don’t do paid blogging. i’m sure of that.

2. exchange links with other bloggers

3. do some free directory submissions.

4. work on your traffic.

5. usage of keywords.

And there’s a lot more to do. But like I said, nobody really knows the exact google mathematics… so just hang in there. And don’t put all your eggs in one basket.

Malignant

I don’t know anybody who has malignant Mesothelioma but I’m going to blog about it anyway. It is good to see that a lot of bloggers are posting about it. At least for those who have contracted this disease, they would know where to go for help and they would have some information regarding Mesothelioma. If I haven’t started with blogging, I wouldn’t know about it either.

An Alternative

With the economic recession still at hand, one can’t help but look for means to earn more.  As parents, it’s our responsibility to provide for our family. A lot of mothers outhere are trying their hands on earning for the famaily as well. Some do full time career, leaving their kids to other people’s care. Some work at home. Some are just staying at home. Some are luckier than the other, I should say.

There are a lot of means to earn whether you wanna work full time or stay at home and work at the same time. You can actually set up a business. And if you’re good at it, you might consider going for it full time with business insurance of course. Sometimes, no matter how good we are in business, there are still risks we have to take, thus the importance of assurance.

Diarrhea

Last week, on Sunday evening, my boy started vomitting. And the next day, he started having diarrhea. We took him to his pediatrician for a check up and thank God it was only a normal stomach bug. The next daya, we had to send his sister to the pediatrician because she too started vomitting and having diarrhea. I guess it’s in the air coz the next day, I started having diarrhea too. I was worried about the kids having them but when I got it myself, I was happy coz I wanted so bad to lose weight. LOL. Speaking of losing weight… yes I have started taking diet supplements but in a healthy form. Check out my other blog for my losing weight journey, k?

Her Performance

My girl was very funny. Weeks before their school concert, the already started practicing for their class performance. When they got home, I would usually ask them to show me what they practiced. My girl would be a one show off girl, showing me all different kinds of dance movements. The day came, we were very excited to see her first ever dance performance. It was funny because they were only showing how to use the musical instruments and they have to sway from left to right while doing it. And where was all the dance movements she showed me? LOL. She was very funny. One boy caught everybody’s attention though, he played the drums…it wasn’t one of those stainless steel drums… only small drums for kids. And he really showed off. Their class performance received the most cheers that day.

Choices, Choices

Why do some people blame others for the consequences of their own chioces? Each of us have our own priorities and depending on our priorities, there lie our choices. Our priorities sometimes depend on our personalities, what do we want to achieve in our lives… what are our goals… which goals come first. Some would choose career over family. Some would choose money over career. Some would choose family over career. It really depends on what you want to achieve in life.

It can get disappointing though if we don’t get things our own way. Then we blame other people for it… when all we have to do is change our choices. You get the grip?

I am so in a reflective mood today. I think I am just missing my kids. We called them up last night. We talked to our girl but not with our boy because he was already sleeping. If he knew we called and nobody woke him up, he would get so mad, I’m sure. He knows his father’s phone number and if he could get an unlocked phone I know he would immediately call us.

Anyways, we have one more day and we’re coming home. I wanna talk to my parents-in-law on some issues that arose while we were away.

Been Away

My husband and I have been away since last Thursday. We’re only going back home on Monday. I wonder if it’s a Cyber Monday on Monday? Anyway… It doesn’t make sense to me that we only leave our kids with their grandparents once in a while and yet other family members are making so much noise about it. My parents-in-law had been asking me (since my kids were still a baby) whether they could take the kids with them so they could spend time with them. I didn’t send them for the first few years actually. I just recently started asking parents-in-law to look after them while I travel with my husband. I hope that some people would just stop being selfish and give way to others.

She Loves to Read

She cannot read yet but she loves to read… at least pretends to read. She sees something printed on a paper, she would act like she’s reading it. Every printed material she sees (even the receipt printed from a receipt printer) could be her “medium” of reading. They haven’t started learning how to read in school yet. She’s probably encouraged to read because she can see from her brother. Well, she basically imitates her brother so much. She would even say whatever her brother says. She’s one funny gir. Samantha is.
