Potty Training – When to Do It?
One time, a friend of mine asked me online for some pointers in potty training her child which was almost tw years old. Sad to say, I couldn’t give her any. I didn’t really potty train my kids. My boy just wened himself at age 3. He just didn’t wanna wear nappy. Some parents would do it as earl as 5 months old. Some babies are even potty trained even before reaching his first year. I personally don’t believe in training them too early. There are reasons of course why some parents wanna wean their kids from wearing nappy at a younger age. I respect them for that. With my girl… after turning 3, she’s still wearing nappy. Two days after she turned 3, I asked her whether she could do … Read entire article »

Malaysia’s Weather
Malaysia’s weather is getting milder. I am glad. We don’t need to use our air conditioning with furnace filters so much. Usually, I turn on the air con in the afternoon when the kids are taking their afternoon naps. And I turn it again at night when we go to sleep. But nowadays, amazingly, we can sleep without the air con on. I am glad because our electricity bill is getting higher. Anyways, it’s not all the time that Malaysia is like this. It can really get hot. Now I wonder why no one is noticing it? Or maybe, we all do but I guess only a few stop and thank God for the mild weather. … Read entire article »

World Traveler
I’m a world traveler. Hmmm… not really. More like I’m a world traveler wannabe. I wanna see more of the world. My trip to London then to Bogota was really a dream coming through to me. I said coming through because it’s not fulfillment of my dream completely because I want to see more of the world. I haven’t been to the USA. I haven’t been to Greece. I haven’t been to Israel. I haven’t been to a lot of countries. But I am glad that God is satisfying my wanderlust desire to see more of the world. Now that hubby and I have more travels, we kind of like know how and what to pack. We usually could travel light (even with kids traveling with us). We used to bring … Read entire article »

Can’t Sleep
I can’t sleep. I already have drank warm milk. Warm milk can actually help you go to sleep. But I am still waiting when my eyelids are going to droop. I’ll probably just hang around here for awhile, check out friend’s status in facebook, search for the best slimming pill one can use to get slimmer, post updates on my recent trip to Bogota, post some photos taken during that trip, etc. Woah all these plans make my head spin a bit. Maybe I feel sleepy already. LOL. Anyways, it’s good to have written something about not being sleepy. Now I can go to sleep. LOL. … Read entire article »

How, oh How?
How, oh how to lose belly fat? I have to do something about my belly fat. People always mistaken me as pregnant. I remember well when we went to Brunei and we were boarding a plane that an air steward came and asked me if I was expecting. She actually asked me politely and I wasn’t offended. But it was a wake up call, although I didn’t really rise out of the challenge. Well, I know a few ways to lose belly fats, but not doing anything about it. Sigh. … Read entire article »

Yo-Yo Dieter
As I have blogged earlier, I am now an official yo-yo dieter. I diet, I lose weight, I eat, I gain the weight again. I diet again. Isn’t that what yo-yo dieters do? Sigh. I want to change my attitude towards diet… I want to try not to eat too much… but everytime I’m on travel, I can’t help but try the local food and I usually end up loving the local food. What am I to do? Look for the best fat burner there is? Maybe don’t eat at all? Maybe, just taste a little bit of the food? But it’s just so hard. Probably establish an exercise routine? Hmmmm… that’s probably the best thing I can do. Will try to do that. … Read entire article »

Colombian Food
Before going to Bogota, Colombia, I searched the internet for some Colombian food to eat in Bogota. Indeed I had a list and had it printed our for my reference while in Bogota. I found and ate some of those food in my list but the rest wasn’t available or simply wasn’t served. Colombian dishes were great. I ate soooo much. The way they cooked rice was also great. I was telling my husband that I didn’t wanna eat rice so much but I ended up finishing my portion of rice along with the dishes because they’re sooo good. And you bet I would need a good diet or fat burners again. I’m pretty sure that whatever I lost when I dieted had all come back. I will surely go … Read entire article »

Touring Bogota
As much as I wanted to tour around Bogota more, we don’t have time time to do so. But I was glad to be able to go up to Mount Monserrate where we could see the skyline of Bogota. At the peak there was a Catholoic Cathedral that has floor tiles and the service runs throughout the day to accommodate all those who go up. The view from the peak was really spectacular. I wished we could have stayed longer til the evening to see how Bogota :looked like with all the lights lit up… but it rained. So we had to go down. I don’t mind going up there again. … Read entire article »
