When we were in the US, we were privileged to tour around 2 states, California and Georgia. In San Diego, our friends told us that it would only take 20 minutes to go to Tijuana, Mexico. We got a bit ecstatic and decided right there and then that we should make a trip down to Mexico. Which we did the next day. Apparently, our friends who were hosting us go to Mexico a few times in a month. They would go there for whatever medical needs they need. They even told us you could do a weight loss surgery Mexico. The reason why they go there instead of just availing the services in the US is because everything in Mexico is cheap. I mean it’s a lot lot cheaper compared to the services in the US. No wonder there’s this bottle neck in the US/Mexico border.
That’s an American English. In British English, you would say, I dreamt. Anyways, last night I had a dream that I heard a job opening for somebody to do drafting. I applied and told the manager I could do it. I got accepted from a job. So I told the manager let me go back home and shower then I come back here. LOL. That was very funny. Anyways, in my dream, I was in the US. That’s even funnier. In my dream, I was thinking… why was it so easy to land a job in the US? I thought with the economy recession, it would be difficult to find a it, especially on the finance jobs. When I woke up and opened my computer and chatted with my friend, I got a news that she was accepted for a job and she lives in the US. I am happy for her. As for me… well, it’s funny coz almost every night, I would dream that I was still in the US. Maybe one day, I’d get another chance to go back there. Who knows… and truly land a job.
I need to burn it. Fast. Before going to America, I had it slim down a bit because of my diet and exercise. But now, it’s back to bulging again. What do I do? Use an instant belly fat burner or do a long-time-achievable exercise? LOL. I’m leaving myself no choice but to pick the instant one. Anyways… I need to really burn my belly fat. I am always mistaken for a preggy… which is really getting into my nerves nowadays. I guess I have to go back to do my exercises. Ciao for now!
As I have previously posted, my grandaunt was looking so young and vibrant. She still works at her 60’s. Nobody could tell she’s already in her 60’s though. She’s probably using wrinkle eye cream. I couldn’t find any wrinkles at all on her face! LOL. She’s a jolly person too. I guess this factor helps. Or maybe it’s genetic coz I also look younger for my age. Not that I’m using any of those anti-wrinkle products. I just look young. And sometimes, I wish I didn’t have a round features so I could look more mature. But then, I am grateful to the fact that most women would be willing to sacrifice everything just to look younger. It’s a blessing.
C300 Mercedes. That’s what she drives. At first, when we were planning to meet her, we were wondering whether to go to her place or she comes to our place for a meet up. She’s my grandaunt, you see. And when I told my husband she was gonna drive to our place, my husband was a bit concerned coz it’s in LA she was gonna drive through. But we had a secret laugh when my grandaunt pulled off and got off from her car. It’s a 2-year old C300 Mercedes! How cool was that? When my dad was here in Malaysia, I asked him to drive. He refused because he said his knee joint was in pain. I’ll probably tell my dad next time to use joint pain supplement and tell him about my grandaunt who’s definitely older than he is, and was driving a sleek car. He would probably freak out. I did.
How do I get rid of the dark circles under my eyes? It get so really annoying when you look into the mirror and all you see are those dark circles. I know right way of doing make up can fake it. But how do we actually get rid of it without using some chemicals? Good rest? Enough sleep? Maybe so. I need to get one of those and hopefully they go away after a few days.
When I was younger, I would think that one is really really old when he hits 40. I mean I have seen a lot of people celebrating their 40th birthdays and they would always get this line: Life begins when at 40. Now that I am nearing that age, well, almost nearing, I can totally say that it’s not that old, really. Age is just in the mind. But when you look at the mirror and see something wrinkling, you tend to think of getting one of those best wrinkle treatments just so you keep down to your age. Ain’t that sweet? LOL.
I think I need to get ready to start with my exercise routine again. I have splurged on food since I came to the US. Well, I told my self I wouldn’t go on diet while here. I didn’t regret it because I so wanted to eat everything here. LOL. Anyways, I am pretty sure that I have gained much. The first thing to do when I get back home is to check my weight. Well, that’s second to hugging and kissing my kids of course. Then I definitely need to go on a run, if not on an elliptical, run on the park would do. I did that before coming to the US… will have to do it again. Need to lose every pound I gained while here in America.
Since it’s already mid-January, I guess people are starting to think of what to give their partners/spouses/loved ones for Valentine’s Day. And what perfect gift to give than loose diamonds? I don’t really observe that day… but sometimes, I kind of follow the groove. I mean, if it’s day meant to celebrate your relationship with your spouse, why not? It’s amazing that almost all people around the world celebrate that day, go out with their girlfriends, boyfriends, spouses, partners, go for movies, eat out, etc. What about you?
