Due to power shortage here in the Philippines especially in Miagao, we are expecting black-outs every day. Actually, if the day comes that there will be no black out would be close to a miracle. And it is very difficult for us students if this happens because aside from the hot climate, we cannot study nor do our research in the internet. So we stock on candles, batteries, flashlights and rechargeable lanterns in order to be ready. We have become more proactive because this has been happening for three years. The only fun thing during black outs is that we have an excuse not to study and so we tell tales and gossip among ourselves.
