Change is Inevitable
Change; It’s inevitable, as we say. Getting old? We could never stop getting older each year but we can do some things to prevent looking really old. Some people look young than their age. Some people also look older than their age. It’s basically true but it depends on each individual’s regimens and lifestyle. Healthy lifestyle prevents us from aging. Daily exercise, having healthy diet, drinking a lot of fluids, and living a stress-free life are some of the best ways to prevent the visible lines and wrinkles in our faces. But there are also anti-aging products sold in markets today and you can actually check http://www.antiagingproduct.org if you like. Anti-aging night regimen, cleansers, toners, wrinkle reducer, lotions, and all those stuff are just examples of anti-aging products. I may say … Read entire article »

What Does it Do?
I was asked by a friend lately with this question, “Jan, what does creatine do??” Amazed with the question, I told her honestly that I only have a few knowledge about it so what we did, we googled it immediately. There are lots of articles relating to creatines. We learned a lot of things and I am glad to share a little about it to you, my friends. Creatine has basically a lot of functions especially as supplements for sports. It is basically used to increase a certain amount of CP, or what they call the creatine phosphate, we have in our bodies. It replenishes adenosine triphosphate or simply known as ATP which acts as energy source for actvities such as sprinting, running, weight-lifting, and the like. … Read entire article »

Just Like Dad
My boy really loves Ben 10. Sigh, sometimes I wish he would just stick to Mickey and Minnie Mouse. But our boy is all grown-up now. I would not be surprised to see him reading novels not too long from now. He seems to be older than his age. His comments and observations never cease to amaze me. I am sure he will grow up to be a fine man like his dad. He has not yet been interested in portables yet, though. Maybe in the next few years he will be. I guess for now it’s just Ben 10. I am sure he will get past this stage. One thing I know though, his ultimate ambition in … Read entire article »

The Pink Cab
Would love to ride in a pink cab? I would love too. Did you know that in UAE, particularly in Dubai, there’s a cab exclusively for women? Yes. And they call it the Pink Taxi. Since it is exclusive for women, it is ofcourse driven by a lady driver. Pink taxis are deployed all over the city of Dubai by the Road and Transport Authority. And to define its name, it has a pink roof, a pink seat, and pink interior plus a pink uniform for the lady driver. Having the pink taxi is a brilliant idea especially in an Arab Country like UAE. It does not only give comfort to ladies but it also gives security when traveling late at night. Plus you have the option to avoid those … Read entire article »

Dish Washer
I am certainly going to save some money for a dish washer. Now that I have more work to on online (not to mention social networking with friends over facebook), I can’t quite cope up with dish washing. Oh let me re-phrase that.. even though I am not busy working and social networking, I still dislike dish washing. But I have to do it. Because, if I don’t who else is going to take that job, right? I wish we can get one of those new faucets though. Ours have been leaking water for a long time already. Maybe when I have a beautiful sink and faucet, my attitude towards dishwashing will change? LOL. Anyways… it’s one thing to wash dishes but get me to cook.. I would do that … Read entire article »

Fine Dining
One of my favorite subjects in school when I was still in primary school was Home Education. We were taught how to do women stuff like crocheting, making rags, making table napkins, etc. We were taught on gardening as well. As far as I can remember, we were taught on home matters. One thing I couldn’t forget was on fine dining where we were taught how to set up the table, where to put the right utensils on the right place. It was really fun as we were competing who would have the best table arrangements. Of course, my team would always win. I used to host fine dining at home. But since my second child came, I somehow couldn’t take the pressure in preparing for a fine dinner. I hope … Read entire article »
