Best Birthday Ever

Hubby and I share the same birthdates. I don’t believe in horoscope but some friends who do would tell us that’s the reason why we have such a happy marriage. Having the same birthday with the hubbs has lots of advantages. One of which is that we could just go out on a quiet date and enjoy our day together.

This year, however, I attempted to do something different. I surprised my man with a birthday party two days before our actual birthdays! When I think about how nervous I was while planning for it, I can’t help but smile to myself. With the help of great friends, the surprise was a huge success—and nothing compares to seeing my man so happy.

For our actual birthdays, we did not get any birthday basket full of treats, but it was awesome just the same. That day, it was my turn to be surprised. Just when I thought that I was great at surprise treats, hubby has definitely done an amazing job by giving me my dream camera lens. It was one birthday I could never forget. Ever.
