Malls and shops are now filled with heart-shaped balloons and decors. In case you have forgotten, it’s almost Valentine ’s Day! I would not be surprised if fancy restaurants are already fully booked by this time of the month as couples have made reservations already for their date nights.
Hubby and I have not planned anything out yet, but I really don’t mind if we will just stay at home and enjoy a special dinner. Of course it would also be great if we would eat out. Whatever. We will figure that out.
As to giving gifts, I have not thought of anything yet, but I hope to use those bath & body works coupons to get myself gifts to pamper myself with!

Last week, I got my first pay check after a million years of not getting any. The past ten years has been a stay-at-home thingy for me. I don’t have any complains though. My kids are now more independent and thought I already could go out and start working again.
I am glad because I really need to pay my debt. LOL. But I guess for two months of working, I’ll be able to pay off everything… I hope.
Going back to work for me is a real blessing. I thank God that the opportunity to do so just came knocking on my door. Otherwise, I would have just been staying at home.
I am glad that through this, I could be a blessing also. Indeed, we are blessed to be a blessing.

Just watching them enjoying the lawn and even bathe in the rain brings back good memories of my childhood. Our yard was not that big, but we were able to play with our heart’s content, we climbed trees, played hide and seek, and that yard was a witness to my simple but very happy childhood.
I used to garden a lot, too but now that I don’t have much time, I just see to it that the plants and flowers are watered in the morning. I also make sure that we have a compost bin and teach the kids how to use it right.

Hubby and I share the same birthdates. I don’t believe in horoscope but some friends who do would tell us that’s the reason why we have such a happy marriage. Having the same birthday with the hubbs has lots of advantages. One of which is that we could just go out on a quiet date and enjoy our day together.
This year, however, I attempted to do something different. I surprised my man with a birthday party two days before our actual birthdays! When I think about how nervous I was while planning for it, I can’t help but smile to myself. With the help of great friends, the surprise was a huge success—and nothing compares to seeing my man so happy.

For our actual birthdays, we did not get any birthday basket full of treats, but it was awesome just the same. That day, it was my turn to be surprised. Just when I thought that I was great at surprise treats, hubby has definitely done an amazing job by giving me my dream camera lens. It was one birthday I could never forget. Ever.

I have so many friends working in Thailand as English teachers. It’s fun listening to stories of their teaching experiences, and how they have picked up so many Thai words over the years from students and local co-teachers. Although they have been hired by schools to teach the English language, they have to learn basic Thai in order to get around the city where they work at.
I have not heard of any Filipino working in Admissions Registration Clerk Jobs, since most of the documents are written in Thai, anyway. Most of these friends of mine work at local Thai schools, but there should be Filipinos working as clerks in International schools, but none that I know of.

Men’s love affair with cars is undeniable. Some men are pretty obsessed with their four-wheels or two-wheels at that, they love it to bits that they even spend more for their cars than for their wives or partners. They accessorize it, prettify it and even show it off proudly to friends. But some men on the other hand are better off sporting their collection of plastic model car kits, which are smaller and cheaper than the real ones obviously.
Even young little boys would delight at toy cars, especially those remote controlled ones. Owning cars (the real ones) can symbolize masculinity and authority and even power, that is why men will always want to have a car of his own and will do whatever it takes just to get and own one.

Nobody knows how cigars started, there were no written or even oral evidence that it started somewhere. Christopher Columbus, however, was the first one to introduce it to Europe and because of the European conquests, it spread through America and also Asia. Today, not many smoke cigars, because it is highly expensive and there is an alternative which is the cigarette.
There are rich men who find cigars really good, it is a way of relaxation: talking to friends over a glass of wine and a good cigar. I hope they are also interested with the history of cigars and maybe one day, one of them will sponsor for an extensive cigar history research.

Hubby’s office had to be transferred someplace else. I mean, it’s still within the city, but a bit farther than his last one. It was practical that we find another building for him to have his office in and we are glad that we have transported much of the stuff in two days.
What a way to welcome December! We are looking forward to Christmas, so working hard on the moveout was necessary before the holidays. I am still not sure about the specifics of Christmas dinner or new year’s eve… but for sure it will be spent with family which I love the most. Speaking of Christmas dinner, tradition has it that we would open gifts on that night, right?
I hope to get a gold bars from hubby! Haha!
Kidding aside, I don’t know what I am going to get but I would love to be surprised!

Having a home office means sparing an extra space in your house to accommodate home office furniture, some mobile computer carts and some bookshelves. When you choose to extend your office work in the house, or have a home-based business, it is important to have that designated area where you can work, and not just place papers and stuff on top of the dining table. Make sure that papers and important documents are out of the children’s reach too to avoid damage.
Avoid putting television in your home office so that you are away from distractions. When there is an appropriate place to work in the house, there is concentration and focus and with that, you become more productive and efficient.

While others are gifted with beautiful eyes, others suffer from certain eye disorders, and some do not even have eyelashes to protect the eyes from dust, particles and other irritants.
Thanks to science and technology, numerous innovations and creative products for the eyes like eyelash growth product, contacts, and others have been developed. All these help in the enhancement of vision, for aesthetic purposes and corrective measures. With these readily available, our eyes will continue to serve us and function well for us.
